Lately, I've been cooped-up indoors - at the office or at home, working. I love my work, but sometimes I need a little fresh air to gain perspective and get the blood flowing.

This goes especially well after some rain - when the scent of eucalyptus leaves is in the air.  It also helps to take the journey alone. Maybe it's the only child in me, but when I go for walks alone, I'm able to have some pretty productive internal dialogue and go on some fanciful adventures, in my mind.

Is it me, or does Downtown LA seem to be holding up the clouds?

Like a landmark on the trail.  I also imagined I could hang on to a branch if I accidentally slipped down the canyon (that's my imagination at work).

Sticks and leaves.

Feels like a dream.
