Commute As A Drive-thru

After months of easing my morning and evening commute with....POP music (I'm aghast too, although I've learned to appreciate its low-effort, mindless appeal), I decided to dig into my podcast library to see what news on aesthetic and recreational pursuits I've been missing.

My go-to podcasts are about food (big surprise).  They definitely inspire creativity, but also make me so hungry by the time I get home or work.  And usually what I have waiting for me (a smoothie for breakfast, soft scrambled eggs, a salad and a slice of ciabatta for dinner) don't cut it!

Food is the New Rock is always interesting and has become a favorite.

Check out a recent interview with  David Chang at SXSW.

Good Food on KCRW is usually one I catch on the radio, on weekends.  My favorite segments feature Jonathan Gold, of course!

Oddly, an  episode I recently enjoyed happened to be SXSW-inspired and has to do with tortillas and eggs.  Um, YES!

There you have it.  Keep your eye on the road and bon appetit!
