Every year or so, I get a little reminder about living and working with integrity. Apparently, the Golden Rule seems to go missing, especially in the workplace when "it's business" can be applied as an excuse for any sort of bad behavior that transpires during the hours of 9 to 5.
I don't know about you, but I walk in, through the office door, the same person who walks out of it. Which is to say: work is part of real life. It's not part of pretend life.
I live (and work) by a code. We all do - some just choose to ignore it. So about this code - it's really quite simple.
This code doesn't mean you have to be a push over. It only suggests - being mean is not a requisite in the work place.
